Born in a small Kentucky
village, Marty Blevins began killing his own food with his bare hands
when he was but a toddler. Later, he learned that eating roaches
was not only unsanitary, but that Gerber Baby Food's Meat and Vegetables
dish tasted much better, though not by much. When his parents
moved him and his 18 sisters to North Carolina, he found himself in a
time of creative growth where he prolifically wrote poetry in the stalls
of his middle and high school restrooms.
His writing
style would earn him the nickname "Stinky McWhinesalot".
During college
Marty became infatuated with Menudo and attempted to win friends by
creating his own fan club. Though sparsely attended, these
meetings became a haven of peace and refuge. However, after
feeling betrayed by Ricky Martin's rise to solo stardom, Marty forsook
the fan club and began to search for purpose in other places.
After a short lived stint with the Woodsmen of the World he came into
his own at the Rotary Club's Women's Auxiliary.
After 16 years
of service and knitting, he ventured forth in corporate America to find
his fortune.
This fortune
would elude him, however, after investing $6,002,332 in Enron.
Crushed by
corporate defeat, Marty and Brian published their first comic,
Gravyboy. Despite needing to update information about himself on
the website, Marty, for various reasons, continued to put it off.
This left Brian
to put down, as best as he knew how, Marty's story.
