This year's election will undoubtedly be worthy of historic note, not only for it's mind-numbing, pain-inspiring, never-dying campaign speeches, but because it has given a prominent, but often overlooked minority the chance to see one from their own ranks rise up to elected office.
I am speaking of course, of the historic and groundbreaking run for Mecklenburg County Commissioner At-Large by none other than the Justice League's own Hal Jordan.
